Pick up from hotel lobby for a 2
hours drive upwards along the ridge of Crocker Range
passing through tropical lowland rainforest, hills,
valleys, villages, rubber trees, some local fruit
trees and etc. This tour brings you to the
Rafflesia Center.
You will be spending some time at the exhibit hall
before trekking to the areas where Rafflesia buds
are found. The center is situated amongst Primary
Mountain Rain forest and trails to the Rafflesia
plots can be steep. If luck is with you, you will be
rewarded with the sight of this Spectacular Flower
in bloom. Lunch at a local restaurant before
returning to your hotel.

Leave Kota Kinabalu for
1.5 hours journey to Beaufort and another 1.5 hours by train to Pangi.
After suiting up and safety instructions by the guide, embark on a 2
hours exhilarating adventure shooting through rapids (Headhunter, Padas
Cyclone, Cobra Rock, Roller Coaster, Jacuzzi Pool).
In moments of respite,
body raft down the river and soak in the tranquility of the virgin

Journey to Kinabalu Park will
take about 2 hours drive along the Crocker ridge passing through
countryside, villages, mountain views and some roadside local
stalls. A brief stop along the way for a photo shot of Mt
Kinabalu (weather permit) and at Pekan Nabalu, one of the local
stalls selling local handicraft, some fruits and vegetable.
Arrived Kinabalu park, proceed for a Guided jungle walk to get a
first impression of the park and its unique flora before
visiting the Mt Garden.At the Mt Garden you will be guided to
the collection of orchids and plants unique, some are endemic to
Kinabalu Park.
Then a visit to the exhibition hall to get a brief information
about the parks available in Sabah. Lunch at park's restaurant.
Go for an Audio visual show introduction to the wonders of
Kinabalu park and its surrounding flora and fauna.Return to Kota
Kinabalu in the early afternoon. En route option to stop by at
Pottery factory for handicraft. You might want to pick up some
for souvenirs.

Take a leisurely drive
(2 hours) to Nabalu Market at the Crocker Range –
the backbone of Borneo. Seasonal fruits/local
produces/handicrafts are sold by local Dusuns who
live at the foothills of their sacred mountain.
Arrive at Kinabalu Park, enjoy the cool and
refreshing mountain air, if the day is clear a
majestic view of Mount Kinabalu, the highest
mountain in South East Asia. Proceed for a guided
walk along the nature trails with the park
naturalist. While walking listen to the sounds of
the jungle and observe nature's plants, trees,
orchids and butterflies. Kinabalu Park boasts an
estimate of 4,500 species of plants which includes
1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to
Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of
birds and 290 different types of butterflies.
Crossing the mountain range to Poring Hotspring
takes about an hour – passing by vegetables farms,
roadside stalls and smaller interior towns of Sabah.
At Hotspring, an uphill walk through the Borneo
tropical rainforest to the 40 metre high tree-top
Canopy Walkway will bring you back to nature. The
chirping calls of birds and insects will surely
relieve the stress of hectic city life.
Alternatively, less strenuous, explore the waterfall
or a dip in the sulphur rich water tub or visit the
nearby Butterfly Farm. Lunch will be at Fairy
Garden. (set Lunch)
Next, visit the Agro Flower Nursery or the Mountain
Garden at Kinabalu Park where some of the botanical
wonders of Kinabalu, such as pitcher plants, orchids
and ferns can be seen. Return to Kota Kinabalu late
afternoon.

through scenic countryside to the North of Kudat, passing views of
paddy fields, villages, oil palm plantation, local stalls selling
handicraft and food items. En-route visit Sumangkap Village, well
known for its "Gong" making skill by its local artisan. Proceed to
the Bavanggazo Village for a Longhouse visit. Built entirely using
local materials, it is a home to the Rungus people community, a
sub-tribe of the indigenous kadazandusun. Observe their very own
unique bead works, lifestyle and costumes. Here, you would
experience a local native Rungus style lunch.
For the highlight of your tour, continue journey
for about 1 hour to reach you on a hill, the Simpang Mengayau.

know that you are now standing right at the tip of Borneo, hence
its popular name "The Northern Tip of Borneo". In addition to
