Visitors Feedback :
My family and I would like to thank you for the
wonderful time we had at the elephant sanctuary. We are still talking
about it since getting home. A definite highlight of our holiday.
A big thank you to Mr Lee. He is a credit to
your establishment. A very kind and helpful gentleman, who answered my
questions with a sound knowledge and who my children thought was the
greatest.
Also thank you for the photo's and cd, and the
welcome home card. We were all delighted to find that card in the mail on
returning home.
Once again I would like to thank you for all your
help. We would use your services again and we would recomend you to family
and friends.
Thank you Jen
Stay well,
Matt Danks and Family.
We visited the Elephant sanctuary and a
nearby Deer Park in December 2006.
The whole day was very enjoyable and an unforgettablee experience. We held
snakes, fed Sun Bears and saw lots of Mouse Deer at the Deer Park. At the
Elephant sanctuary, we rode Elephants around the camp and in the river which was
fantastic. My children (who were 5 and 7 at the time) had a fabulous time and
love looking back at photos. Lee was our guide and he was extremely friendly and
helpful. I would recommend it to any family visiting Malaysia.

Caroline Laing and family (UK)
"I have forwarded your company (Endemic Guides Eco Tour) to quite a few colleagues and
friends so hopefully they will come out to the Elephant Sanctuary that we so much enjoyed.
The kids still talk about their day there so that is the main thing.
I have recently been to our local zoo here in Perth and our daughter was once again telling
all of her class mates that she rode and played with the elephants in Malaysia.
I once again thank you for a wonderful trip and yes if I am ever there again, I would
certainly try and get back to the park."

My wife and I went on the Elephant tour in
Dec. 2006.
What a fantastic day it was. Picked up at the hotel spot on time, our guide and
driver were lovely people. There was a Husband, Wife and two young daughters in
the minivan with us. The guides could not do enough for us from arranging Toilet
stops, organising the inclusive lunch and taking photo's with our camera's as
well as there own camera.
The CD with the pictures on was waiting for
us when we got back home from visiting our son in Australia 3 wks later.
This was a fantastic start to our holiday, we were only in KL for 2 nights but
rest assured we will be returning both to KL and the Elephant Sanctuary.
I highly reccommend this tour to all ages.

Thanks for the
email. I have been meaning to message you but the weeks go by
and nothing happens. Tell Lee he was excellent and the kids still think it
was one of the highlights of our trip. Will try and send something more
formal to you with photos but I'm not sure in what time frame?
A few friends are visiting soon and have given them your details.

We had a great time on the Elephant Sanctuary
tour and we all enjoyed it very much, especially my Wife who had a ride into the
river on one of the Elephants. We would certainly recommend Endemic Guides to
anyone visiting Malaysia.

Hello Just wanted to thank you for sending us the CD, full of photos of Kuala Gandah!
As I mentioned before, Brad losthis camera, so we are all so happy that you took so many
pictures and a movie of us all with the elephants! They are a wonderful memory of our
trip to Malaysia! Terima Kasih!
Thank you very much for that it was great to have a look and see what fun we had. Your colleague
Mr Lee is a very good guide and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour. His friendly
attitude and attention to detail was very much appreciated. We will take more tours with your
company when we visit Malaysia again.
We have been to Malaysia many times and stayed in KL and Penang and as we have many friends
in Kangar in Perlis we visit there as well, we usually make our own tours with our friends
to Langkawi and surrounds of Kangar. We played tour guides ourselves in Penang this time for
our friends who live in Penang and never ventured up Penang Hill. We were very pleased with
our visit this time and will remember our time with Mr Lee for many years to come. We have
attached some Photos of Mr Lee carrying out his duties with us….it was great fun.
Best regards

I am happy to reply to
your request of feedback on our Endemic Guide Tour to the Kuala Gandah Elephant
Sanctuary.
I was very happy with the way Endemic Guides were able to adapt to my requests,
especially when I wanted to see specific places of personal interest along the
way and my request to add in extra stops.
Endemic was happy to adjust and comply with my needs and desires as a traveller.
The whole day was fantastic and I could not have wished for a better guide. Lee
was patient in traffic, understanding of our two children's needs, had lots of
interesting conversation, interesting local information and easy to talk to. In
addition to all that Lee was very prompt in forwarding special pictures of our
day via disc to Australia. I was so impressed with the care taken over our trip
that I will be using Endemic again as I plan to go to Vietnam in 2008.
Cheers,

I understand that Claire has already written,
but we would like to add to Claire's that we found Lee completely delightful.
He is so interested in the culture and wildlife of the area and we certainly
wouldn't have had such an insight without his knowledge. He was fun to be
with. Please thank him for helping to make our stay in KL so enjoyable.
Like Claire we found the diet of the Sun Bear very weird and to our mind not
quite right but did like the "hopes" of its owner regarding the improvementshe
hopes to make for the Sanctuary.
The elephants seemed to be well cared for and
the film at the beginning of the visit was informative and interesting. Have to
say we did all enjoy our time feeding and bathing these amazing beasts. Our
lunch there was second to none.......once again, Thanks Lee. Claire has already
suggested to a friend that if they have a stop over in KL later this year they
must contact yourselves.
Thanks for the photo CD which we received early last week, sadly our net
connection was down until today, hence the delay in acknowledging it. We had a
great stay in KL and then on to a brilliant holiday in Borneo and Langkawi, we
would recommend Claire as a travel guide, she designed a fantastic trip for us
all.
Best wishes

I have been meaning to
contact you but it has been so busy since we have been home.
We had a fantastic time and Lee (and Fay) were brilliant, they felt like part of
the family by the end! The tour was great we got a whistle stop tour of
the main attractions of KL. The Batu caves were interesting and Lee got us
there at the perfect time before the crowds appeared although we still got
to see the monkeys on the way down. The Deerland park was different, some
amazing animals although they defiantly need more room and they need to stop
feeding the animals sweets!
The elephants were great
although I was worried that I was going to fall off when I rode them, we
also got thrown into the stream by one of the elephants before it's bath time,
very funny. Bathing 2 baby elephants was very cute. Also the 'simple' food
we had was by far one of the tastiest meals we in Malaysia!!
All in all it was a fantastic 1 and a half days we spent with you guys and the
excellent service I received from you before we went was complimented by
the excellent service from Lee and Fay when we were out there followed by
the excellent pictures that you kindly sent through to us.
I have already recommended your services and my director at work should be in
touch as he is in KL for a few days in December! Hope this is enough for you to
go on!!
Take care and I will let you know when we are back in KL (I want to live
there!).
Claire :-)

Feedback From Richard and Toni Figueroa-Powell
Trip date: September 10th 2007
We both really enjoyed this tour to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. Our
guide, Mr. Lee Kok Chung , was very personable and had alot of interesting
information to share with us as we travelled to the sanctuary as well as while
we were there.
The visit to Deerland Park was an added treat for us. We enjoyed feeding the
various animals and being able to take our time looking around and taking
pictures as well.
Our lunch at the Elephant sanctuary was tasty - I happend to like Malaysian food
so it was great to eat some more while we were there. The reason for our trip
realised once we walked out into the elephant compound and the elephants began
to join the visitors. What a treat! Watching the elephants being bathed,
feeding them, riding them and interacting with the two babies was so very
special. Added to the sanctuary staff were very accomodating.
Our trip back to KL was safe and smooth and Lee delivered us back to our hotel
by 6 pm. We can't say enough about how well Lee managed our tour that day - we
highly recommend him as a guide for future tours! We have already recommended
the Endemic Guides Eco Tour company to friends back in London, UK.
Thank you for making our tour to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary so special!
